Up Marrick - Grinton walk Prev Next Slideshow

 Grinton bridge. The right side arch is part of the bridge built in 1547. The bridge was repaired & widened in 1797 by the famous John Carr of York. This doubling of the width may be clearly seen under the northern (right side) arch.
