 The clock was installed as part of the Victorian restoration of the church in 1896. This colourised photograph taken in or before 1907 shows the church with its probably white faced clock. On the right hand edge may be seen the Grinton corn mill which was demolished in the 1950s. Much more is described on the Grinton village/Corn Mill page.
